What we do
Five kinds of work, one standard.
Each one is drawn from what Heritage Design Group's clients describe in their Google reviews.
Backyard design
The work clients mention most. A backyard plan brings the patio, paths, plantings and places to sit into one design, so the yard feels finished instead of pieced together over the years.
Most mentioned in reviews- A plan for the whole yard
- Patios, paths and gathering spots
- Planting that frames the space
Front yard landscaping
The first thing anyone sees. Planting beds, edging and a clear route to the door give a house a proper welcome from the street.
- Foundation and entry planting
- Clean bed lines and edging
- A front walk that leads somewhere
New walkways
A walkway sets the pace of a yard. Straight and formal at the front door, or a relaxed curve of stepping stones out back to the patio.
- Front entry walks
- Garden and stepping stone paths
- Connections between patio, lawn and drive
Stonework
Clients call it "amazing and artistic." Walls, steps and patios built by hand, with each stone chosen and set to sit right with its neighbors.
- Retaining and garden walls
- Steps and landings
- Stone patios and borders
Decks
A deck stretches the house out into the yard. Planned together with the landscape around it, the steps land where the paths begin.
- Decks planned with the yard
- Steps that meet the path
- Planting to soften the edges
